Exercise/Food When You're Sick

I've been preparing for a 5K race in June, so I'm trying to keep relatively fit but I've just been struck with a vicious cold that has left me exhausted and frustrated that I can't workout. I'm the kind of person who needs to be really looked after when I'm ill - whether it's a cold or something more serious and I get super homesick! Do you exercise even when you're feeling rundown/ill? And aside from chicken soup, what are your favourite "comfort foods/drinks" when you're sick? I've definitely been making the honey/lemon concoction all day, but I need some new ideas!

Being sick definitely sucks, especially in the spring when you are training for a 5k. The best thing you can do is rest and drink plenty of fluids - tea and chicken soup that is my motto.

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
