I've been looking everywhere for a make-up base specifically for eyes as my shadow creases by mid-day and I was frustrated with the products I had been trying, when I came across the Clinique Touch Base for Eyes in Canvas ($13.50 at Nordstrom) and I'm a total convert! It's creamy, but goes on really light and really allows my eyeshadow to stay put. Best of all, it comes in seven different shades to blend in perfectly with your skin tone and in my opinion, is a beauty must-have.
It's really worth it! I'm the type of person who never believes the hype in "unnecessary" products, but after the makeup artist at the Clinique counter used it on me, I REALLY saw the difference - it lasted from 11 a.m. till 8 or so, and my eye shadow looked completely perfect during this time. I don't think I'll ever go without it now! Let me know if you try it!
Very cool! I use Urban Decay primer and love it. It seems to be the same type of thing. I wonder if it is cheaper.

Kiwi - is the Urban Decay primer for your whole face or just the eyes? I'd be curious to try that one when I'm finished with my Clinique, if you think it works well!
I use Urban Decay as well (and it's just for eye lids as), and it's about the same price $15. But it's nice to know you're using Clinique products 
heheh...as you know I work for Clinique. I've never tried that before though...sounds like
both products are doing the same thing but the Clinique one sounds interesting b/c the UD doesn't come in different shades and it's in different packaging (UD is in a lip gloss tube with a
lip gloss brush stick).
I have the same problem with my eye shadow conking out by mid-day, so I'm definitely going to try this. Thanks!
